ADSL Filter

( Also known as a microfilter )

If your modem ( ie internet connection ) is ADSL then you need an ADSL filter on every telephone/fax machine which shares the phone line.

This unit connects to your telephone line, exposing an RJ11 socket for your ADSL modem and a BT phone socket for phones and fax machines.

If you get any of these symptoms, then a faulty or missing filter may be the culprit :-
- Phone rings, but hangs as soon as you pick it up
- Noise on the line
- Caller gets through, but is cut off immediately with a crackle
